Disaster Response

In times like these, we come alongside local churches and pastors through our relationship with ARC. We believe the best way we can help is to equip, resource, and empower the churches that are already in the affected areas because they know the people, places, and areas of greatest need better than we could alone.

The churches we partner with also have incredible volunteers who are committed and able to serve their community in both the short-term and long-term. These churches have built relationships that allow them to offer not only practical help, but the emotional and spiritual care that is desperately needed in the midst of disaster. People will turn and look to God in times like these. Through the local church, they will experience His hands pulling them to safety, His feet pushing through the flood waters to provide relief, and His love creating hope when it is needed most. We believe God is present in this recovery, right there in the trenches—helping, healing, and working through His people to provide light in a time of darkness.

Many of you have asked how you can help. We are so thankful for your commitment to loving people in need.

Here are ways you can be a part of the recovery:

We believe in the power and effectiveness of prayer, therefore prayer is our first response. Please pray that those families affected are able to see the love of Jesus in a tangible way as the Church serves as His hands and feet.  We truly believe that God can take all things and work them together for good.

100% of what you give will go towards loving our city well. Each dollar will be used to help serve and rebuild families that have been affected by this disaster.

In the days directly following a disaster, the best thing we can do is let the response professionals do what they do best. As soon as it would be most helpful, we will send out serve teams.

Thank you for your love, support, prayers, and generosity.
